After debating on approach.. fixing all the small dents (20+ quarter sized) on the bed panels had me thinking One, I can use a dent puller and body filler to get a decent straightness after paint . Two, I can replace the panels with new aftermarket sheet metal that would require a bit more tedious skill on the welder.. then paint. Three, look for a minty bed in the wrecker/pick ur part (hahaha) that won't need much work.. Or.. since I won't be using the bed to haul loads.. I'm seriously considering making a one piece fiberglass bed.. WHY?? Weight reduction/ body strength/ longevity of materials well proven/ customizable compartments for batt, fuel cell, rear mount rad/ etc... Who's done it?!? Post pictures!! What do you guys think would net the best results overall. Even worse, does someone already sell this part and I'm just not knowing..lol?
Toyota Fiberglass makes a whole lot of fiberglass body panels and such for our trucks... he is on this forum from time to time
