So I have a 1990 toyota pickup and i notice alot of ppl use 4runner fenders on their pickups, but i learned that the pickup 4wd fenders have the same shape...would i need any modifications to put those on my yota instead of the 4runners ones that would simply b a bolt on or replacement procedure/

The 4-runner & 4x4 fenders are the same & they all just bolt right on. The only thing youll need different is the corner lights.

yea i already knew that, im new to the customization game, but ive been learning quickly becuz i really want to get my ride looking alot nicer, becuz the guy that i bought it from really didnt take care of it, so i plan on basically rebuilding everything, especially the body work

It will also need the mounting holes slightly modded around the core support area. If you use the 4WD bumper, you will also need the side supports for it.

Are you going to buy new or used parts?? If it were me Id look for good used parts, but Id call around to see what kind of deal you can find. The first time I
did the swap from 2wd to 4wd I went to a local body shop & they hooked me up with a list of what I needed to do the swap. Oh & you could also go by your local Toyota dealership & ask the parts dept to print you out a detailed parts list of what you need as well too.

if u buy new fenders ur going to be playing with them to get them to line up. the only nice thing about new ones is if u get ur pass. side, none OEM spec. it wont have the hole for the antenna. also go to advance auto parts and buy the window mount antenna...its what i use. if u need a pics of it i can snap a few for u..
