    Hi toyotaers,

I just got my Fast crane ignition kit from LC engineering, and have some questions for anyone who has experience with them. It makes sense to me for big black to go to ground, blue to go to 12v+ (for the 22re setup), and the black and orange to the new coil. Where i lose it is the bundle of wires that included the orange and black also has coming out of it white, red, and orange wires that have a female connector with only 2 terminals. from my understanding, the yellow and white wire should connect to these after a male connector, yet the only other double connector is also female and the male connectors provided are singles not doubles, and i cannot get two to connect at the same time. i know this all sounds a bit convoluted, but i am just wondering if i don't understand what is going on here or whether LC didn't send the right connector.

thank you in advance for any help you can provide

This is the only other double wire connector, but it is also a female:

After reviewing the PDF that LC has on their website, it looks like they did indeed send the wrong connector. I have contacted them to send a replacement.

well, problem solved! I ended up throwing LCE's diagrams and instruction in the fireplace, then used my haynes manual and FAST diagrams along with names such as Phillip for coil positive amd Henry for power from the ignition switch to make a schematic of my own. Fired up, then had to re-time it and set the idle. runs kinda smooth now.at leadt it is running, working out the rest ain't so bad.

Ended up driving 250 miles yesterday (didn't really want to put everything to that much of a test so fresh, but circumstances necessitated) and she drove like a dream. The most noticeable improvement was climbing hills, there was so much less struggle going up steep twisty roads. Now that it is in and working, it is time to bundle and route the wires to make it look all pretty!
