    I'm running a weber 32/36....

    I'd rather have efi.

Seems less complicated and more efficient to me.

I always like to warm up my cars a bit before racing off, but when in a rush in a carbed truck... its a dog!

I don't like all the damn emissions associated with the stock carb.

I've been through the ringer in CA with my carbed 22r, chasing down stupid little problems, associated with my carb.

Id rather see a "check engine light " and flash a code to get on the right track.

Replace/clean a sensor seems easier to me :)

I know its not always that simple, but when you have ran into all the problems I have with the carb...OMG!

I agree with YOguyDA, I am running a weber 38. Even with a wideband they can be a pain to tune. The EFI may be frustrating but getting it right will be way less work than converting to carb.

As he said its not fun waiting for it to warm up enough to drive normally. If I could convert to EFI cheap and easily I would.

I assume you are having problems with the EFI? Hence the cursing?

    What's going on?

I have converted from efi to carb a couple of times. It is pretty simple.A lot of people are against doing that swap but for me it is cheaper and there are fewer things that can go wrong down the line like computer box,Maf sensor, fuel pump all that. That stuff is not cheap.I did my 4x about 2 years ago and put in a webber 32/36 and I have not had a problem yet.If you want me to walk you thru it hit me up.

I see you're in CA also. Just an FYI, your truck will not pass smog if you convert it to a carb.
