I didn't want to hijack YotaMatt's introductory thread but his truck got me thinking, does anyone here have an extra long bed (8-foot) truck?

Mine is 7.5 feet on my 78. I didn't know there was a longer bed.

Yeah, I think the chassis code is RN75. It's basically the long bed Xtra cab frame but with the standard cab and an even longer long bed.

Hmm. Interesting. Any more wheelbase than my 110" would suck being super low. Get stuck on everything.

Yeah, I was studying my factory service manual and they show the different chassis configurations. The manual shows the RN75 frame with two configurations, one for an Xtra Cab and one for a standard cab.

One could probably be made using one of the camper/uhaul chassis' and a couple long bed, beds grafted together. That wou;d be a loooooong bed. :waytogo:
