Is this a Toyota mirror? 6-1/4" long base, 4-1/2" diameter mirror head, 2-1/2" long spike, a screw in the mounting base and a screw in the tip of the spike to hold the mirror on. Either way I want another!! Any help is appreciated.
if i am not wrong, most or all toyota's didn't have a right hand side mirror, or passenger if that helps, along with older american vehicles which also didnt have a passenger mirror.
Chevrolet cars had factory exterior mirrors for both sides starting in 1953 and trucks they started in 1947, but they were an option so you dont see them really till about '55. Toyota I dont know, thats why I am asking. Also the mirror is universal so it will fit either side.
looks about just like mine, i'd say it's toyota. mine it put together EXACTLY the same way. it just seems to look a little different in the picture. see for your self. http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/build-up-project-threads-19/my-1970-im-fixing-up-6949/index2.html
Wow glad to see another mirror along that style. I was looking at sales brochures and they are showing a mirror that looks like yours. 3 by kevintothej, on Flickr So I either want 2 mirrors like powertech has or just 1 more mirror like mine.
