What products do you guys use for cutting/polishing/waxing/maintaining your rides?

Anyone have any experience with some of the newer lines? Chemical Guys, Adams, smart wax, etc?

I've been learning from an old timer (40 years, started painting then moved to detailing..) who swears by Meguiars and Mothers for everything, don't get me wrong it works well, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with something else that may be easier or works better..

What do you guys have in your lineup?

Perhaps to a professional who does this regularly might have preferences between brands, but I'd think that for us average consumers we would never be able to tell the difference and any of them will work so long as you actually use it. There is no "easy" in car detailing, unless you do it regularly and simply get to a point where you're maintaining a polish vs starting with an oxidized 40 yr old paint job that you want to shine. With that said, I've always just used Meguiars, Mothers and old school turtle wax. I also liked using Nevr Dull on chrome parts. Good luck with the wax on wax off I see in your future Daniel Son.

I've been using meguiars but I've just been wondering what others like too. I know detailing is all opinion based but I'm open to what others think.

And yes I am aware that there is no "easy" way. But if something is cheaper but doesn't work as well I'd like to know, I'm willing to pay a little more for better results. :waytogo:
