i just had magnaflow hi flow cats and muffler installed on my v-6 mustang today and i must say i like the way they sound.

i have dual two chamber flowmasters on my 66 mustang and it sounds good, but i think they suit the older cars better.

i've been split on what to install on my hilux, and i think i'm going dual magnaflows now.

you can probably find a vid on youtube of a 20r with a flowmaster.

I have a magnaflow cat, with a flowmaster. 2" pipe all the way back from the header. It has its own sound to it. Deep low tone in lower rpms. Higher rpms it start to get pretty loud.

On my '86 22r, I had a Thrush super turbo(part's store cheapie) for a while, it sounded alright, but I blew the seams out of it. The rest of the exhaust consisted of a NWOR tri-y header, 2.25in pipe (straight, like a fence post), no cat. After the seams blew out, I put a 24" cherry bomb on it. It felt more powerful than the thrush, but it was pretty loud at anything over an idle.

I've heard some magnaflow's and they sound pretty decent. Never heard a dynomax on one, though.
