Just measured a set I picked up from Napa Auto Parts (#600-1814).... 1-5/8 (inches) tip to tip. Sorry, you'll have to convert it if you need it in "mm", but B.Y.E.'s 40mm sounds about right.

So ima go on a JY run today and get some off a 20R, 22R/RE. Parts guy said they were the same sh!t so ima do it.

    About $5 for 2 studs + 2 nuts.

Yeah, if you can find them at the yards, you can pretty much just pocket them.

I've been looking for the past two months and every time I get there either the motor is gone or the head is gone. 2x'r rarely last a day unmolested, in the yards out here.

Why can't you just go down to the hardware store and get the hardened bolts? I've done that in the past with cars and had no issue finding the right bolts. As long as you get the right type of bolt (for exhaust I think it has to be the hardened stuff, none of the stainless bolts) it should work fine. I have the same issue with mine, I'm missing 2 bolts from the manifold and need to replace them. I'll probably just hit Home Depot (cringe) to get them.

I gots no truck, for now
ya ive put bolts in lots of times when studs snap off or i have to torch the bolt heads off to get the bolts out. Its not that big of a deal, and spending 70 bucks on exhaust studs almost sounds like a joke. Just get something that fits in the hole, its all about clamping force on the gasget. If the bolts are too long its not going to ruin anything either ( just dont get 120mm or something nuts like that )

Well i went out there today and paid about $6 bills for 10 nuts+10 studs.

    $.50 a piece+ $1 enviornmental fee.

Picked up some for my 3VZ-E too. Fckin great!!

I would just pocket them but theyve been getting smart and randomly bust out the metal detector on people. When i was there 2 weeks ago they called the sheriff to pick up a couple of guys.

Now i just need to put everything on
