In the red/clear taillight thread, you posted a pic of your truck from the rear. I was wondering where you got those pipes attached to where the tailgate goes? I am thinking of getting a pair of 'em so I can remove my tailgate without the mounts rusting later.

I would ask him, but I'd have no way to pay for it... no credit card, checking account or even money.:doah: I would just like to know if off-road shops have them or something... either that or my cousin can help me make one whenever he gets back from the Navy.

I had them made at a shop that is long out of existance, I paid $50. But they are real easy to make without a bender, all you need is a saw, a drilll ,and a welder, cut out flat stock that is the same size as your bottom mouts drill your holes cut your tubing at an angle as it would lay flat agaist both ends and weld, the tubing i thing was 1 1/4 and the stock was 1/4, i mounted them to where the tail gate mounts on the bottom and removed the gate recievers and mounted them there, real easy, at the time i couldn't fab but now it should only take about a hour even for novice.
