I recently purchased a 86 yota 4x4 with tons of goodies bust apparently just as many problems. My evap/charcoal canister Is dumping tons of raw fuel. I believe its shot. Can i bypass the canister by looping the lines together with a vinted cap? Im not sure what to do because the truck has been converted to an electric fuel pump, holly double barrel on a 20/22r hybrid motor. So there is not much stock about the truck im just lost. Lol

 

Quit over filling your tank trying to get that last dollar in

 

Its doing this with only a half tank. Can i connect the two lines together and use a free flowing gas cap?

 

when ya open you gas tank does woosh really good if so evap is holding persure

but is it venting it there were the evap temp switch plays the roll of venting it
i would test to see if it works

that or just drill a hole in your gas cap problem sovled
