So I have been following this build from just about day one. I am blown away by the amount of work that Nigel has created and the outcome truly shows in this amazing Toyota. Here is a little clip about Nigel and his truck. BEHIND Nigel Petrie on Vimeo You can find more about his build a Engineered to Slide I recommend taking a look through his journey of building what I think is the most amazing Toyota pickup ever built. A lot of what I would like to do and see out of my truck has come directly from his work. Big inspiration to me.
I've seen a few pics of that before. Super sick. Love the NASCAR style cage/frame. I plan the same on a future project but with a 2nd gen hilux. Got any links to pages with more build history on it? That one seems kinda small.
Couldn't agree more with you. But being he has a big background in SR20 builds it's still kinda cool. But yes wrong engine. I think it's super cool that he builts EVERYTHING.
Yea I figured the engine choice came down to what he knew but if that was the case he should have slapped a datsun 620 body on there.
Here's a link to the oldest post. So you can start at the beginning. I think the motor is odd in that its not toyota, but it seems he has a heavy Nissan back ground. I am grabbing so many pics. ETS Drift Ute Archives | Page 30 of 30 | Engineered to Slide
