I painted my block "aluminum" engine enamel. Didn't paint the intake or the head. Matches the raw aluminum nicely. Painted the motor mounts and brackets black, black valve cover with sanded high spots to be bare alum. Painted the block off plates, aluminum radiator and air cleaner purple. Looks pretty rad.

I just wanna paint the brake booster, fenderwells, small firewall parts, stuff like that. Make it look all nice and flashy for somebody to buy it.

I went simple and used high temp engine enamel black on the block and black and white on the 20r valve cover. It's a b!tch to keep clean with no firewalls.[IMG]

    It's not a Toyota
I like that black/white valve cover Malesso.

My favorite treatment I've seen so far (on a Toyota truck) was a wrinkle blue finish. I love the wrinkle finishes on valve covers.

I sure like the look of the 20r valve covers better than the blocky 22r covers.

Krylon x-metals line of paint looks really cool over shiny metal. Or brushed metal. I have it on alot of stuff, its the purple accent I used. I have also used the glitter clearcoat underneath those before for a nice metallic look. Worked killer with the red xmetals on my dirtbike.
