Looking for any suggestions on shops or people whom specialize in building
Toyota R block motors, specifically 18R or 18RC.

    Thanks for any info.

Probably any shop could do it they are relatively easy. There is a motor shop in Boise ID that does nothing but Toyota engines but since you live in Vermont Im sure the shipping would actually be more than the rebuild

Your going to have to research your local area to keep it reasonable. Since its an 18R, it may take some work to find someone who will do an older engine. I notice you put engine builder on your title, their awesome as long as your alright with freight cost.

Shipping freight is really no problem. I use the local ABF freight and pick the motors up there. What is a rough idea on the weight of a 18R?

What is the name of the Boise shop?

    Thanks
