Where is the best place to get all our Energy Suspension bushings?

Shop in California City has quote me the below:
    front control arm 8.3106R - 30.10
    strut bar 8.7103R - 14.70
    body mounts 8.4103R - 62.49
    leaf springs 8.2107R - 20.07
    sway bar 8.5105R 23 and 8.5104R - 22.07
    tie rod end boots 9.13101R and 9.13102R - 2.97

I'm getting all except sway bar since aftermarket Belltech or Hellwig comes with them.

Can you recommend any better brands other than Energy? I heard Northwest make some bad ass bushings. They're expensive though and they don't make everything for our trucks. But, you get what you pay for.

i dont know much about the "mini" scene but have worked on alot of pre-runners... they should be one and the same I would think (could be wrong).... having said that, you could always go to a uniball or heim. But if bushings are what your looking for you should go with some Delrin Bushings. you can pick those up at kartek or somewhere. Hope this helps

What is uniball or heim? I've never heard of that. I'll look into the Delrin bushings.

its only for steering componets or spindles really in the off road scene. They get pretty expensive and am not sure if you would really use them for a mini.

Just read you on them on the Kartek site. I don't think I want to go that route. Too pricy and unnecessary for me.

I guess I'll go with Energy. Simplicity.

when it comes to poly bushings you dont get any better than Energy Suspension. they make theirs graphite impregnated and they never need grease.

the largest dealer for energy suspension bushings in the US is suspension restoration products co in modesto ca. the owner is bruce and he is very knowledgeable to deal with and is very nice.

delrin should not be used for street suspension or bosy mounts. its way too stiff and transmits more vibration into your hands, feet and ass.

ES makes kits for vehicles as a whole kit or suspension, body, chassis etc even motor mounts and trans mounts.

look into it, its worth your time. peace!

If i recall, delrin is also the same material that was used for my R/C car's chassis... i wouldnt trust that for a bushing lol.

Delrin is custom stuff or if you can find it would be to expensive because it needs to be machined, heim and uniball are not an option for you once again it would require custom fab or more money than its worth, as far as graphite impregnated i never knew than energy ever was because ive used both and energy still squeeked like hell, but still poly is the best bet and using moly lube on poly is the best to reduce squeeks, as far as maufactures, daystar the cheapest, prothane, and energy are the only i can think that make poly for hilux trucks.:waytogo:

I'm going with ES. Only becuase they are decent and they have all the parts I need.

All parts should cost me around $180 minus the sway bar bushings since Belltech sways should come with them already.

    Rolling the fenders today:clapping:
