Ok I ordered the entire kit and it came with 4 big bushings *Looks like they go together*, 8 small bushings, and two shafts that go with the big ones. Anyone done the poly bushing thing to the rear end and know where all of these go and what other bushings I might need before I start this project?
I have all Energy Suspension bushings on my truck, ordered them when I first lowered it /static dropped, now bagged. If you go to their site you should be able to match them up! I ordered all separately as didn't use @ the body mounts!
The 8 small ones are for the shackles on the leaf springs. The 4 big ones and the shafts are for the front leaf spring mount.
The bushings on the front side of the leaf spring(oppisite of the shackle) will have to be pounded out. Be sure to grease the bushings with the givein grease.
Thanks Toxic! So big ones for the front and small ones for the rest. Anyone know if energy sells shock bushings because the bushings in these shocks blow! Also: Are there any other bushings in the back that I need while I'm ordering parts? Edit: I"ve seen some people say only grease the inside, but the instructions sheet that came with the bushings said grease the inside hole, the outside, and the metal part it's sliding into... Any advice on greasing?
Nevermind on the shock bushings as I see energy sells them. I bought the cheap Gabriel shocks last night *will upgrade later, but the ones on the truck are busted* so have to measure the ID/OD of the lower/upper bushings and get a set.
