im making toyota bag and coilover are for the 80-90 toyota trucks right now here the start of the bagged arms lower it box with a tube, upper will be tube.
Exactly. You really don't have to do much at all to the stock arms to use them. What makes yours better than stock arms aside from appearance? They look to still use the radius rod, which the stocks do obviously, but they are also very easily converted to not use them. Maybe we're not seeing a final drawing? I just don't see where the major advantages are, or where them being bolt on is beneficial.
They are going to be a arms. There a tube the is welding to the side of the arm to go tors the rear. There a mount that I made that bolts to factory hole in the frame. I just druw the box part on soildworks. I will get some pic of it latter today
Oh, okay. I figured the little triangle part was either a gusset of some king, or a shock mount? Will be interested to see pics.
wanna make some of the old school coil spring trucks? my lower arm smacks my upper spring perch on my 73
those arms look great man...... do they drop any from stock? (like djm arms) ive been doing some installs with the djm arms and unfortunately, EVERY time i use them, there is ALWAYS modification necessary to install them correctly. its not that they build bad arms, but their QUALITY control is garbage! an option as opposed to using djm arms would be nice. it be nice not to have to modify something someone paid allota money for in order for it to fit correctly.....
I'll be watching this thread as im going to Z mine and get some upper and lca'a next month when taxes roll in. Looking forward to seeing a finished product.
Well bob grant getting the frist 4 sets of bag arm. And then I'm going to make a diff. lower arm to use QA1 and those will go on the CYN YOTA.
about $700 with all the parts and fully tig welded and fully bolt on. 100 less the cando and have the install work.
