Egr

    So i took out my EGR today..to my surprise it was not that bad..but i still cleaned it..hope this gives me more MPG..ill keep u guys posted ..

    how can i tell it the EGR still works..PPL told me wen the Engine is hot the EGR should be to..if not than its a bad EGR???? is that right or ders other way on checking it...??

    let the engine run to normal temp, the apply vacuum to the nipple on the EGR valve, if the engine runs like complete crap or stalls then its good, if not then its not working. Having a working EGR will not help your MPG, it will just help your smog numbers.
