I want to see if there is any info out there on removing my EGR and some of the vacuum hoses on my 1993 22re. I would also like to know if anyone has experience with MAFT translator on 22re, for instance will the one for a 7m work on 22re , the factory MAFs are similar. Any help would be appreciated.

So, I guess no one has experience with the aforementioned issues.

Lc engineering sells all the block off plates you need.I run Mikuni side drafts and have made my own egr block off plates in the past for my Webber 32/36 set-up.As for the vacuum lines it depends on which ones are in question.Pics would help a lot.The MAFT from the 7m is the flapper type right.I've heard of people experimenting with the Split Sec. boxes and the 7m's but I could not answer that question for you.I know the stock MAFs have a fuel pump switch in them and I dont think the 7ms do so IDK.I'm wondering why you would want to do this? The techs over at LC are really helpfull with these tough questions anyway so it's worth a shot asking one of them.

Search emissions removal or variations of it. It's been discussed at length.

That helps a lot. I haven't done anything to the truck in a while, I just started driving it again. I have a lot of mods I will be doing in the near future, I'll post some pics. Thanks
