    DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS F A R T F A C E!!

ppp_2009 IS the seller ID. they sell the crap thailand half and full clear lenses. as some of you may already know, they fog up on the clear half and theres nothing you can do about it to clear them up (buff or otherwise). just a warning to those who are thinking about buying these lenses, or any of the thailand made lenses.

ebay was of no help, they washed their hands clean since it was out of the 45 day policy. i showed my evidence to ebay, they were going to refund it and as soon as i escalated it, they closed the case. f a r t e r s. :brickknock:

oh well, this is all i can do n help someone else avoid the headache. i purchased the dot legal ones from cali made by depo. hope these turn out ok.

We should make a Trash thread. Parts not to buy.

yea, i think the plastic they used is a better quality, but 2 things caught my attention and reason i bought another set. 1) they did not have the recessed reflector area. 2) they are DOT approved (not that i cared) but i would think the quality to be DOT approved should be higher.. right?

yup, same here. i thought it was a fluke from a set my buddy got. one set got funky (REALLY BAD) and the next set he got are fine and holding well. :dunno:

i got your warning a little too late... i had probably ordered them hours before i had read your comment.

dude, the edit cracked me up when i seen it

but yes, i think you have a good idea here. to further add to this, i think we should have a "good buy" / "bad buy" thread. or threads.... not sure if we should combine the two or not. but it should be a sticky of some sort! :waytogo:

I'm glad you thought it was funny. I feel your frustration, I've been through it with other junk and I felt bad about editing, but I'm just doing my job.

As far as the threads, I agree. Two threads, and I can sticky them here in the Off Topic section provided the list grows.

i gotcha man... sucks. its hard enough to be a mini truck enthusiast without getting jerked around by the limited suppliers and dealers.

alright, make the thread, and ill find some of the good items i know of and try to get links, part numbers and prices to those things to post up in it.
