anyone know if a 95-96 2wd tacoma grill would be a close fit on a 94 pickup? they use the same headlights so im hoping it would be an easy swap for a little bit of different look.

A guy here in town as an early Taco grille on his 89-95 pickup. It looks like it fit somewhat easily. He shaved his corners so he wouldn't have to deal with them.

well, this was a big no go.
the swap is not a direct bolt on by anymeans. the tacoma grill is actaully narrower then the pickup one buy like an inch and its also taller. so to make it fit, i would have to move the headlights inward and mount the bumper lower or cut about an inch off the bottom of the grill and remove or modify all the stock mounts. it also bows out more in the middle so i couldnt line it up with the hood and corner lights very well. if someone had more time and alot more patients then me this would make a good project because when i had it mocked up, it looks pretty bad ass. sorry, i didnt take any pics.

p.s. anyone want to buy a grill?
