Hello, all! Shane here. Want to introduce myself and my truck. I have a 91 Toyota one ton dually ex dolphin motorhome. Now just a Cab and Chassis. I will be starting a build thread very soon. Hope to see you there. 20220823_190922.jpg

I have a build thread for it. I would link it here... but I don't know how. I will say that it is ever evolving.

Welcome Shane, nice save there. Do you plan to utilize that heavy differential in your build?

Just so you know those steel wheels have a weird bolt pattern. I think it something like 6 lug by 7.25”.
There are no aftermarket wheels with that bolt pattern unless custom made. Treat them gently.

Yes, I knew that going in. Tires are extremely hard to find at the weight rating I need. also. They are only 14". Plan on going with GM dually parts eventually. Just for more wheel/tire options.

That's awesome! Thanks for that, exactly what I was looking for! My plan, eventually, is to replace both front and rear components with GM one ton dually parts. All the suspension will be custom fabricated. That way, I can have standard 8 lug dually wheels all the way around.

I installed a GM 14 bolt ff rear axle on my rig.
I’m light enough to switch to single tires in the rear, which is what I wanted to do.
    Can’t beat those 8 lugs.
