I am looking for a dually axle for my yota. The bed on mine is starting to rust away and was gonna turn it into a flat bed. I thought it would be cool to throw a dually axle from a toyota camper under there also. I have looked around my local junk yard and have had no luck. Anyone know where I could find one?

There are 2 different kinds of duallys bro.

A 5 lug, G code, duo servo drum brake sucker. (I have one)

And the bigger 6 lug dually axle that came out in I think 84+.

If you can find a set, you could get the early "bolt on" dually wheels without having to change your axle. But these are known dangerous and are hard to find because of lots of recalls back in the day.

    Just trying to help. :waytogo:

Appreciate the help. I don't care if its a 5 or 6 lug either one is fine by me. And I definitely don't wanna make my truck into a death machine.

Buy a Uhaul Toyota box truck. You can get those for under 2 grand, and you still have the rest of the truck for parts.

Never seen one of them around here. Plus im not looking to sink that much into the truck considering its just a beater. Im really just looking for the rear end.
