I just purchased a set of Belltech 2"drop spindles. When replacing them I know how to split the ball joints (with the 2 prong fork tool) but, how do you rejoin them when assembling the new spindles? Thanks

You should torque them down to spec...then check them again after driving a bit and def use the cotter pins.

i think he meant how to tighten them down without the nut spinning the balljoint.......... if you try and wratchet them down, some balljoints will spin inside the spindle. use an air impact gun. try and support the lower side of the ball joint into the spindle.

Thanks for the better description SD YOTA. I'll try the the impact method. By trade I test systems on 747-8 aircraft. Electrical is my game. Thanks for the advice.

if the impact still doesnt want to work just use a pry bar to press them together and hit them with the impact. i run into this all the time at work
