I'm looking for a plastic drop in bed liner and can't find one anywhere. Please don't tell me not to or to get the spray in stuff, my bed is already rusty as hell and beat up.

Tried a Mitsu MightyMax and some random Mazda b2200 liner and neither fit due to the rear fender well placement.

Does anyone know of any liners that will drop in from other make/model trucks that I may be able to find in the junkyard or craigslist? Looking for an over the rail liner.

It's an 85 xtra cab. Bed measures roughly 6'4". Thanks.

You should contact the seller and ask.

    But...

If I am not mistaken, drop-in bed liners are custom molded for specific beds. If you look even at that stock photo, you can see all the little "extra" bumps molded into the sides above the wheel well.

The 84-88 trucks had at least three different short beds over the production term. Your truck, looking at your picture, has the "slab-sided" US bed. The inside of this bed is completely different than the "Japan bed". For instance, I believe the tie down points inside the bed are in different locations.

The later Japan beds had bolt-in interior walls while the earlier Japan beds did not.

And the earliest Japan beds had tied down hooks on the exterior of the bed as well as manual side latches on the rear gate instead of the center handle of the later beds.

I PM'd him and he said that is just a stock photo, not the actual liner, and can give no other information other than it's for a 6ft bed (my guess is it ships from a warehouse and he's unable to get pictures as well). I know about the other bed types but everywhere I read says there are 6ft and 7ft beds where mine seems to be right in between?

I've searched countless hours for this part number and many other manufacturers part numbers trying to find any information about drop-ins for this model truck or any that fit to no avail.

I've been to that site as well, I know I have an american bed but with it being 6'4" has me a little concerned if it will fit or not.

maybe someone reading this thread can measure their bed? Or start a thread asking people to measure their bed. I am pretty sure Toyota did not make a 6' bed, a 6'4" bed, and a 7' bed (although in the Japanese market, they did have a 4' bed)... I have a Japan, long bed so I can't help you there...

Got the tailgate piece? Wouldn't happen to want to sell it would you?

That part number (from a google search) is showing it's for a '90 pickup. That's not the same bed is it?

I do have the tailgate piece and I do want to sell it. The tailgate piece is where the part number is located. I have all the hardware that was on it too.

If it'll fit and we can agree on a price I'll definitely make the drive to get it. What year truck did it come out of?

The insert is the same outer fenders are different. I don't see why it wouldn't fit if the inner bed dimensions are the same. It's up to you if you want my bed dimensions to reference yours let me know. It's just sitting in my storage building.

If you could get measurements of the width and distance from the wheel wells to the cab side of the bed that would be great. That's the main problem I was having. The liners I tried were either too narrow or the fender wells were too far back. If I remember correctly my bed was roughly 56" wide and the wheel wells began roughly 15" away from the front of the bed.

57" wide from inner of the top rail, top rail is 1 1/2" wide, wheel well starts roughly 15" from cab side of the bed. 16" deep from bottom to top of the rail and almost 6'4 long.
