noticed a ring around my drive shaft front hitting the frame under cab. im lowered on 4 inch blocks w/ a bunch of tools in the back lol. would shims help prevent this?

 

I have had this issue before when running a celica trans but all I did was cut the trans bushing and modified another mount to secure trans in place, but nothing is perfeclty round so unless you can hear the humming noise from the DS rubbing on that upper rib I wouldnt worry about it, its a common thing

 

I had the same problem. I clearanced that part of the frame under the cab.

Your simplest fix is going to be a set of airshocks for when your hauling stuff in the bed. $75 at your local parts store. $125 more for the management system as seen in this thread below.

so you just cut it out? iv been wanting to go lower but thats one of the things stopping me as well as not cutting bed for.c notch

 

and i have considered air shocks before but never put alot of thought into it
