Any a you guys ever find your driveline rubbing on the under side of the bed cross member? Mine seems to be really bad these days and I don't know why it started doing it so much lately. I have the same 3 inch blocks and 2 leafs out that I've had for months now and it never did it before. Even with the 200 lb canopy on it. Its worse since I took it off. I don't get it...
is it your pinion seal going out? (theoretically) I know the Reg cabs will rub the driveshaft against the crossmember since its not a two piece like the xcabs.
Nah, I can see the groove its rubbing into the driveline. I think I'll just have to modify the crossmember a tad. And the sound it makes is a hollow metal grinding...so I don't think Its the rear or atleast I've never heard a rear end make that kind of sound anyway.
Mine is bagged so for me to ride rearend on ground with front up is impossible until I notch the crossmember and cab its work but you'll never have to worry bout drivline rubbing just wearing out the output shaft seal on tranny
Yeah yeah...I thought so too...Just a little ironic. But hey, its not gonna make me raise it back up anytime soon.
Itl be tough to run a block that tall without a notch...your axle will pound on the frame hard and you'd probly have to remove the bump stops to get that tall of one in there. I have 3's and already hit frame with the axle on good bumps. Just and F.Y.I
