I dont think you have room for it there the back Part of the spring is too long i have mine on the lower rear part kinda in the corner and they are really not necessary either our doors are real light i didnt have em for years On mine and with no issues
Ya you don't need them at all. Our doors are super light. Even on my buddies fullsize we didn't use them cause it started to dent the door
