I've been looking for a used set of rims for awhile now. I found a set of Mustang Cobra rims that will fit. The fronts are 17x9.5 and the rears are 18x9.5. My question is do you think I will need 4x4 fenders to fit them on my truck? I have 2" Belltech drop spindles.

 

Pretty sure you will. You still may have issues depending on the offset of the wheel

 

A lot of 2WD owners go for 4WD fenders anyway, like an OE widebody kit that works wonders with large low-pros.

 

Ok thx guys. reason I'm asking is because there are some on a 4runner at the wrecker. I don't come across them very often and thought maybe I should go grab them just in case.

 

Sounds good, you'll like the wider appearance of the flared 4x4 fenders anyway.

 

Snatch 'em up! I put a whole 4wd pickup front clip on mine, I think it looks a ton better & more agressive.

But you don't have to change the grille or bumper. Just the corner lights

 

Yea i think its time i get the 4x4 front end. Gives me a place for an intercooler too!
