Uggh gross... Picked up a 93 taco and the guy before me did such a hack job i want to replace the whole bed. If anyone has advice on cutting out another bed for 4 link, please post clean pics or share your thoughts and suggestions. Also ive heard a lot of ppl using trailer fenders for up front!? Any pics? Thank you

Check my thread. There is no exact how to cut it out. As each setup is different. But what I did was took my bed off flipped it over and using the bed mount holes as a guide transferred measurements. Then connected the dots and cut it out.

2 ppl make this job easier.

Same here. I put a few of my tricks in my build thread. Are you keeping the stock floor?

if you're getting a new uncut bed i wouldn't cut a big hole in it. raise the stock floor up. looks factory when it's done that way.

Awe i didnt expect so many responses thank you all every idea and suggestion were all top notch. I expected to ge lt the "use the search button" response lol but thank you. Ill grab some pics of this ugly bed and throw them on here. I plan on putting the black leather like covers over the bed to hide everything so i think i may go with connecting the dots and cut. The truck lays frame but the way the dude hacked the fenders he didnt even take off enough and the fender drops directly onto the tire. Lol genius....

Thank you all again ill keep posting pics of the progress.

do you mean 225/40R18? I have those on the front of mine and they are almost stock height. As far as your bed if the sides are in good shape why don't you find a crappy bed (on the out side) and cut out the bed floor and create a lifted floor over your notch and links. Street trucks did and article about that a couple of months back.

Why not throw down some sheetmetal instead of getting a new one? Mines raised up a lot maybe 5" deep

I have a decent driver bed side that I cut out of my old bed. Also have a whole bed that has a bad drivers side and a decent passenger side and a cut up floor. I'm located in Palmdale Ca
