Just picked up a set for $170 out the door with lug nuts.... I think i got a pretty good deal:)

Tires are shot though...And this is the only one with some rash. The rest are perfect!

Yeah, i've been looking for months! Not hardcore pavement pounding or anything, but CL has been a ghost town for crown vic parts....Then a 1996 crown vic popped up in my search, i called and i was off to recycle road in less than 15 mins.

They're going on my '86 pickup.... and yeah 16"

So guys, i'm a little frustrated.... I tried on the wheels with the stock tires, to kind of get a better idea of what series tire i want to run and was disturbed by this:

    ImageShack Album - 12 images

Hopefully the link works and you can figure out what wheels are what, but would like your input.....My truck feels "tainted".

Obviously from the looks of it, something isn't rite!

Nice truck man! I'm kind of bouncing between 50 and 55 series tires, but those 50's look like enough meat for me..... I've ran 40's... I don't miss it, lol

Happen to have anymore pics? Like a shot of how far they stick out?

    Thanks

The only and I mean only reason I went with the 50's was I know a guy who owns a tire/wheel store and I got a matched nearly new set of four for $100 mounted and balanced. I though about plasti dip spraying the mesh on mine red.

Well, It looks good! The 50's look more comfortable than 40's, are about the same height as stock and 40's just make the whole wheel/tire combo look small to me. You need 17-18's to run 40's and fill out the wheel wells.... just my opinion.

These were 1" shorter than what was on the stock wheels. And with the 4 speed it hurt me on the hwy. that was another reason I wanted the 55's.
