crack in my dash....

    i have taken ths time to sand my dash smooth, but its got a crack in the soft part on the top... what is the best way to fix the crack???

    if the crack is too big its not going to look right, if its just a wee lil crack you can fix it.



    get a "dash repair kit" from your local McAutoParts, and a heat gun.


    put the goo over the crack then heat around the crack till its decently warm. then use both hands and push it together while it cools. your doing this to stretch the vynl a lil bit towards the crack, so as time goes on it hopefully wont seperate again.


    but keep in mind, it will always look patched unless it is a very minor crack.

    Too smooth ,all that should be removed!:cool:
