    Welcome Cory,
I live in Phoenix and have a 1990 Regular cab with a 5.3 LS with a 4L60e trans setup. I have been driving my truck on a regular basis and it is a fun ride. Good luck on you build.

Yes, I agree. You did do more engineering with your suspension setup. I went with thicker front torsion bars, gas shocks and sway bar for better handling and to handle the additional weight of the LS engine and transmission. On the rear, I went with a set of Bell Tech lowering springs, gas shocks and sway bar. The truck handles great and it works out well for everyday driving. I am considering converting over to a front coil over front suspension from Stab Fab with their A arms and coil over mounting brackets. I do most of my own metal fabrication but if there is already a setup that has been proven to work, that would save me on having to do the extra work. Something to thing about.
