So has anyone put their turning signals into their corner lights?

on my old 2WD corners, I just drilled a hole and stuck the socket in it.

I'm thinking about doing the 1157 dual filament mod. 3 wires, one low, one high, dim, bright.

    Anyone find any easier way?

most likely going to cut out my own plates and put them in place where it was.

    smoothing is an option :D

the foglights in place of the turnsignals have always been an idea in my head. im not sure what fogs i'd buy though..... wal mart ones? lol rectangles.

I'll try to be creative, i think i'll just make plates to sit in there.

or an air duct to my intake :D

    edit:

finished about an hour ago. took forever to do, rtv is currently curing.
parking lights are so much brighter than before. 1157>194 bulbs.
    everything works fine!

    iv done this.
i went to the junk yard and looked around for a while and found that early 90's (i think) accords have push in rubber 194 bulb sockets for there outside turn signals in the front. i grabbed a set of those and then drilled like a 1/2 hole in the pickup corner marker and popped the light in. i will take pics of the sockets and later today if i have time cause right now im going to bed.

do you have any pics of how that tube goes into your intake? thats a good place to pic up some cooler air!:waytogo: i think you could use your turn signal to make it look cleaner.

just cut out the back attach your hose to it and make a grill out of mesh or something, paint it red to match your bumper and it'll look pretty damn good IMO!!

Thanks gentlemen! You guys provide the motivation for me to go on and on!
I'd fail you guys if I sold her off.

I sandwiched the end of the tube between my air intake filter and the fender well! :D

    Option 1- The air duct!
I'm a little unsure if the turn signal itself would be large enough. I think what i will do is take my sheetmetal, and build a rectangle similar to the turn signals. Then I'll just taper it to size and fit the tube to it. Possibly the best way to do it.

    Option 2- The plate!
    a. Basically take my sheetmetal and cut out a plate to cover each side up, painted red.
    b. Or out of this clear red plexiglass i had somewhere...

    Option 3- The fogs!
Find some rectangular fog lights! Find some off a 4Runner? WalMart?!

    More ideas would be nice!

I was considering about doing that.
maybe stick them turn siggies back in and go sequential.
    i'm happy for now.
