    wassup fellas,

i havent been on here for long , just bought the 91 yota for few days

its a 22re 5sp with 155k miles no oil leak, shifts smooth, intereior beatup, exterior alright for $1500!!!

    so far , the problems

needs smog, rear tires , looks dirty inside oil cap, window dont roll up , one is off sitting in the bed, rear view mirror is broke, no key to the wheel lock lug, exhuast leak causing idle rough, overheat a lil( thinking is the thermostat coolant dont flow too good when i open the rad cap) , bench seat is ****ed up, stereo is missing got wires all over the cab

power is good , shifts smooth , 38 miles coming home gas needle just moved a lil bit even with 235 tires

    here are the pics

the plan is to fix whatever problem it has now

so far i found it was hit in the front passenger side but not bad at all , i took the seats and carpet out cleaned them, the seats are hella nasty especially the arm rest , i will post some pics tomorrow, i fixed the window front frame, today passenger window is installed, the front end is taken off the truck waiting for 89-91 4wd front end, looking for seats and other missing stuffs like exhuast pipe still still got a long way to go

check out my wtb thread see if you have any spare parts for sale

For removing the lock lug nuts I would look for a really small pipe wrench. Or a really small pair of vice grips. Something with teeth that will fit inside the wheel straight or close to straight. Then you can just give it a few taps with a hammer and they will come off. Or grinder lol. Might need a new stud.

use a socket for the lock nuts. that is what i use if i lost or stripped the locking lugnut. just get a size just smaller than it, hit it on the lug then take a rachet and take it off..

Watched a guy at a garage use an air chisel to just force the lock lugs to spin...

not planning bagging it like other guys here , i dont have welding exp/skills

maybe a bj flip/torsion bar and 3" block, rims is a must, im planning to upgrade brake , i dont know if the 4runner or 4wd front calipers would fit, iv been looking on the web for the rear disc, a lot of stuffs to read , most of the disc conversion you have to give up parking brake

intake, header, test pipe and catback is the plan , if i can find some used carb legal header

as for interior, im looking for seats both seat for cheap, steering wheel shift knob

these are really strange lock nuts, is all round on the side so you can get any grip with vice grip or anything like that , i think a walmart gator grip will take them off

since i need to change rear tires i will pay 20 extra to have a shop take them off while they are mounting ans balancing tires
