anyone using the qa1 coilovers from a 69 camaro in their mini? if so, is it a direct fit? i need to stiffen up my front suspension ALOT. lmk
Well I know that many Tacomas are using them because they already have an upper coil mount. And I know that the lower holes need to be enlarged slightly to mount them on our lower control arm. The lower control arm holes are identical on the 89-95 2wd and the 95.5-2004 Tacoma 2wd. But the 89-95 trucks don't have an upper spring mount so you would have to fabricate one.
I put a bigger sway bar out of the 89-95 trucks, and i did use kyb gas a just shocks for a 68 camaro, they are bolt in except the hole on the lower tbar need to be slotted out. its alot stiffer and sticks to the corners..
