Ok, so this may be an odd request. So excuse my newbiness.. I'm working on bagging my 86 Toyota, and it does not lay out yet, but I'm getting pretty close. In the mean time i notice that my upper control arm is getting very close to my steering column, the lower i get the truck. Also I plan on doing a body drop, z-frame, which of course changes the geometry of the fire wall opening for the steering wheel in relation to the steering box.
So, would anyone with a bagged truck, body dropped, etc, mind sharing some pics of how close it comes to touching, or if some relocation is needed? Also, if anyone has any forewarning advice or input. Thanks!

Here is the link to my build thread on SSM General Discussions Forum - Under Construction | Not Forgotten - Page 1. I just thought I would share the link with you and you can copy and save whatever pictures might be helpful to you and then zoon onto them. I did not do the build just my ideas to clear that up. Truck is an 82, is bagged and has a stock floor body drop. Should be pretty close to how you are doing your setup. I hope this helps you out and good luck.

Share some pics of your build.

no i have stocks. i just cut a notch on the top part. it still rubs a little but nothing major. i dnt drive the truck often anymore since i started my career i been busy busy busy with work so thats why i left it. but if not i highly recommend tubulars for better lift and a better look too. as for my steering i didnt do anything. my steering is all new tho i replaced my idler arm steering box refurbished new center link with inner nd outter tie rods and ball joints all around. so my steering has perfect play because you cant have too much play or no play at all. u need play due to the fact itll be too stiff and quick if u didnt have play. i forget what my alignment guy set my play at.
