coo..i used to have some like those a long time ago..someone stole em! thats the bad thing about our lights the mounting screws are right in the open

 

my initial concern was the turn signals and brake lights.
I first thought that the LED brakes would light up. not really. so SDYota's suggestion to paint the reflectors was my other route (which is why a 5minute job turns 2hours lol)
then the turn signals... I just dont wanna be harassed by the cops from having clears already, so amber bulbs in

 

what did you use to paint the background? and so you have LED bulbs?

 

Amber regular turn signals
regular white reverse
and then those drop in red LED's from autozone lol


I still have the LED red turns but currently not using them.

I did the reflector paint to prevent run in with the cops or anything like that. OEM visibility was something in my plans, i want this to be used without problems lol.

 

i used to have those clears back in the day but they kinda sucked cuz they would get moisture in them n they turn yellow over time, but thats wut u get when u buy taiwain sh*t. even my red clear get water in them i was kinda dissapointed when i saw that, its all good though some sealant will cure that.

 

looks good, some guys like to run clears over here but its irritating because their colored bulbs would fade and its like headlights lol

 

i suggest clearcoating the inside and outside of the lenses to prevent any fading or discoloring. it stops the UV from effecting the plastics. and stop messing with hanging garbage off the back and lower your truck more. lol. and how many times do i have to say to ditch the huge tires?

 

Looks awesome! If you don't mind telling, what did you use to paint your tailights? I just got a pair for my truck and I thought it looked super cool!
