I have been wanting to do one of the LCE pro cylinder heads for some time
The truck currently has all the other goodies on it already including the Pro EFI camshaft.

So i decided to go with the Stage 2 head and Stage 2 camshaft.

I took the head apart and had that polished as well

Who is doing all the polishing? That LCE head looks like jewelry. Wow nice work.

Going to weld up the extra holes on the LCE header flange while I have it off . Then I will send it out to be ceramic coated again

    DAMN!

I was just about to give ya hell about the header being so nasty :D
    Looks good :waytogo:

I take it you've tried to make an inner fender to cover those tires before. That's a lot of cleaning when the tires keep throwing debris in there.

Are you running copper head gaskets or do they just look that way?

Ah, haven't seen that done in a few years. Mainly on older performance V8 stuff.
Now days everybody just gets FelPro's and call it good. (<V8's)

I love the polished head and parts. I thought about it, but wasn't sure how long it would stay that way.

Have you ran valve covers with breathers like that before?

I've ran them on a couple V8's but stopped using them and returned to the stock PCV system. I found the breathers let small amounts of oil escape and it kept messing up the valve cover even when the engine is good and tight. The engines did see 5500-6000 rpm fairly regularly though.

Strider - V8's are a hole different ball game. I know what your talking about with oil getting past the breather, I experienced it on my sbc 383.. but on my last truck with a 22r I ran those holes just open (no breather or pcv or anything) and didn't have a single drop of oil come out of them. I think it's because of the way the valve covers are baffled.
