chrome bumper

    where can i get a chrome bumper for a 1983 2 wd truck i think chrome would be alot better then the plastic one i got on there now

    I believe a 79-81 bumper will bolt right up. Some of those came in chrome. www.Partstrain.com sells the chrome bumpers for cheap. that is where I bought mine.

    your truck would look a wole lot better with a chrome bumper and grille.

    yeah i went to partstrain and found some rims grille and bumper for my truck so im good now thnaks for the website wensday im gonna get out the old grinder and grind them hooks off my bed finally

    I used a air chisel and a sledge hammer to remove my hooks. Pain in the ass too.

    yeah it always seeems harder then what it looks but im gonna try the grinder hopfulyit will work and wont be a pain in the a**

    yeah i was thinking bout puttin bags oon the truck but i decided jsut lowering kit would satisfie me id ont feel like screwin with it

    Soon I am going to lower mine 3" in the rear and 2" in the front. When I do that I will probably replace the balljointa, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, get some drop shocks, and repaint everything.

    Why don't you just use the ole smoke wrench(cutting torch)?

    i would nif i had one laying around but i dont think i have one layin around in the shop otherwise i would it would be a whole lot eeasyer

    what are u doing to lower your truck 2 inch in the front adn 3 in the back

    In the front I am going to crank the torsion bars down. In the rear I have 3" lowering blocks to go in.

    how do u torqe the torsion bars down ?? i think i might do the same thing
