I have 18x7.5 Magnum/Charger wheels and have no issues other than can't have the center cap on the front.
i was reading on a 300c forum that it wasnt safe and itll start shaking or something like that i cant recall. cause i found a set of charger steelies for $50 with tires and wanted to get them
I've had my truck on the interstate doin 70 and no shaking yet. The only thing I had to do was get wider lugs cause the wholes on these wheels are bigger.
ya thats what they were saying and that no one should do it.. but if wheel shops and companies are selling it and saying its fine then it should be cause if it wasnt thats a lawsuit waiting to happen
Bolted right up, the lug holes are a bit bigger than stock. But i have aftermarket chrome lug nuts that worked great.
got my steelies wednesday $75 with tires but the tires r huge so i ordered some today. now i was wondering what size lugs i need to get since the holes are bigger let me know asap so i can buy them thnx guys
Talked to a guy at Les Schwab today. He said its not the size of lug, its the type. Make sure the lug is for whatever wheel you are running. He didn't like the fact that I was running these Dodge wheels on my truck, he wouldn't even touch it. Mainly because the bolt pattern is a hair different. Here is a pic I found that shows the different lug nut types
Is your dust cap on the front preventing you from having the center cap on the front wheels? I was worried about that with my wheels butbthe offset was enough that it wa not a problem. I was told you can remove the center cap and use something more flush mounted like a rubber dust boot getting one at a trailor shop. Dust cap only purpose is preventing debris from getting in the berrings, that what I wa told anyway. Hope this helps
