I always thought about that basically an international truck club that is forum based. The only thing i can think of that is hindering this is how spread out we are. As far as shows, events, runs, meetings etc there arent really a lot of us all in one area except a few of you in certain parts of cali and washington. Im down though maybe cut it into a few chapters or something ????

i think a car club should have a little more requirements then just sign up online and you're in.

i've been on this forum for quite a while now, and wouldn't have any interest in being in the toyotaminis club. not that the people and forum aren't great, but there are other "clubs" that lean more towards the style of truck that i like.

maybe a better idea is to try and organize a more localized toyota club in your area, and use the forum to help attract new members.

After some thought over this, I don't think I would be on board. Not that a club is a bad idea or anything, but for me, there would be no difference between that or just running the toyotaminis sticker. Except then, I could say I was in a club.
I was a part of a club for four years with chapters in Atlanta, LA, Orlando, and here in the Cocoa Beach area, and got burned out on the planning and motivational coaching.
You fellers are welcome to pursue the endeavor though, although I would ask Jeff about using the site name first.

I would fly the toyotaminis sticker along with my club logo (if I was currently in one). The 2 things are completely different.

<---- will not be in another car club. You have to critique a club a LOT! Some big issues with a club (which was local and doesn't necessarily effect a big club) is that if at any time someone rolling around with the same sticker as you is being stupid in traffic, then the cops will relate anyone with that sticker as a bad apple and guess what, you get pulled over too or catch a bad rep for it.

I am starting my own little club for fun. There is already a TDE club and now i am just adding the minis for the ones that have or are building minis. There is already 40 to 60 TDE decals on vehicles around the valley. I also have access to a laser engraver and a decal machine. Here is a simple image i did with the laser engraver.

Yeh, I'm not sure I'd support this site being considered a "club", although I've had many people ask about that during the time I ran CustomTacos.com as well as on here, too. These sites were never really designed to be a "car club", but rather simply an online "hangout". My experience with being in car clubs back in the 90s was that there was always a lot of politics and drama involved. I like to keep things simpler.

As always, if anyone is interested in sporting the ToyotaMinis.com logo on their truck, we have inexpensive stickers for sale in our online store:

    Toyota Minis Store

Thanks to the OP for the idea, though! :)

I will start a drama free club! I am starting one more or less to signify we are apart of a group. I am designing decals with a couple friends right now. It should be pretty cool.

Hey guys it's nice to hear that you like the name so much.
Drama? Inevitable! you will have it no questions asked. I've been part of an Off road club for years and just started the minis Club, it takes special people to be part of a Group of enthusiasts, ones that want better and something to be proud of. Those that don't mind following rules like No Drinking and driving (not even one beer) or no dragging in public or no speeding! You want your club to be respectable then you have to be picky about who flies your colors..

Drama is guna be there. thats why its better to have a close knit group but even then the drama will always follow, just takes one person to start bull****
