Whats better? I know that the mikuni made intake is shorter and comes in a 2 piece...

If you are looking for HP buy the LC Engineering manifold. If you just want a little more street performance buy the Cannon. Do not use Mikuni carbs for the street, use Webers, you will be much happier. I haved used both-Mukunis for racing and Webers for the street.

thank u for ur input, BUT mikuni carbs is wht I have. and I have no neg comments bout webers, but I have witnessed first hand wht Mikuni carbs offer (if tuned correctly). not saying tht u didn't tune urs rite, but I was VERY amazed and impressed bye B.Y.E.'s setup (sorry Chelu but ima have to brag for u...) probably in the future, I will experiment wit webers, but for now, mikunis are wht I have. thanx again

I was not saying the Mikunis can not work on the street. My truck racing motor was a TRD prepared 18RG with twin Mukunis and I won a lot of races with that setup. All I was saying is that the Webers are easier to set up for street use because they have more configuration options available than the Mikunis. I currently run a 22R Series 285HP L C Engineering prepared Stage 5 Pro Stroked off-road racing motor in my truck with twin Webers on the street.

Neither is better, Mikuni, Cannon, Weber, Solex, Dellorto etc... It's all in the tune and what purpose your building the motor for...

As for the carbs, I'm partial to Mikuni's because I have the spare jetting/parts for them and been messing around with them since the late 90's... Webers advantage is parts are in abundance and easily accessible. If I can get the right amount of money for all the Mikuni stuff I have I'd be more than happy to switch over to webers...

I was not offended. I just have a lot of experience with both carb setups and I learned over the years the best features of both. If you go to the yotatech WEB site and look under suncomb1-albums you can see my truck / motor in more detail. I run a programable Nitrous system with everything hidden from normal view. I have run Mikunis and Webers using the same long run intake manifold.

this right here! i've also run weber, mikuni, solex and dellorto and it is all dependent on tune. the better the tuneing process, the better the outcome.
