Can it be done?

    91 pickup
    I have a w56 trans from a, i want to say 93 toyota 4x. I want to put the trans in my 91 pickup 2x. The only problem is can the conversion be done ?? I did a half ass search but not enough info comes up . Any info would be helpful . Thanks

    Anything can be done if you're determined. I think at a minimum you'll need a 2wd tail housing, since 4wd had a tcase in there for rear driveshaft output.

    Tail housing from a w55/58 along with the output shaft would get the party started.

    Great i got those pieces . I dont mind the w56 for now . I mean its not the w58 or the R series but its better than a celica 4 speed . Thanks again
