Anybody "know" someone in the Sacramento area they would trust to do a mini-notch on my truck?

I bought a welder and feel like i could probably do it myself, but i also bought a house from the 60's with an old electrical panel and only one outlet in the garage that shares the same circuit as receptacles and lights inside the house.

Needless to say, i own a tack welder until i upgrade the panel....

Contacted a welder advertising on CL and was quoted $360 + materials WITH the bed already removed.

Seem a little high? I really don't know....

I just don't trust anyone cutting into the frame of my DD that might end up pulling a trailer someday and will be hauling on occasion.

    Let me know.

    Thanks.

I bought a 8 piece notch kit from Steve Nelson when he owned CanDo up in Orville, he was going to weld it up for me as my welder is only 120 not good for frame work!!
His welder was down so sent me to a shop in Sacto, $500 labor only, now this was a while back so I would recommend calling KBS Fabrication in Orville, it's is old shop, new name & owner!
Not that far & he does good work!

Do you recall the name of the shop in Sac?

    Thanks for the reply!
