Hey there, I have a 1989 Toyota pickup. My bumper was recently smashed and I want to replace it. I found someone selling a really cool bumper from a 1976 Hilux. Anyone know if that bumper would fit on my truck?

Doubt it. Older trucks are much narrower. Just buy it and if you cant make it work sell it. Theres a market for it

    Or...

If you're good at metalworking and handy with a welder, you can try widening one. Been watching a lot of those customizing shows on cable. Amazing things some of them do. Depends how much you like the look...

My own "dream fun project" is to take the stock front valance and extend it (in metal) a few inches since it already has an air dam shape to it (I have a 1988).

    Thanks for all the advice.

I am just going to keep looking for a bolt on option that fits my aesthetic and bust out the blow torch once all other options have been exhausted
