I made mine using the old brackets some square tubing and a bit of plate .. it only cost me $20 and about 30-60min hope this helps a bit and good luck
Got mine from FBI ,& had to modify. If you make yours use 1/4'' plate for the strength to support weight!
cool, that does help,it gives me encouragement to make my own.I hate to waste money on the uncertanty that something won't fit but, when I modify something myself it's more gradifying when it works. thanks I'm glad for this forum
I have a "home made" set for sale $40.00 + freight FITS awesome if you email me , I will send you a pic
could you post a pic of the brackets? I was going to make my own as well, that way I could see your design. Thanks
Make your own... Such an easy task and cheap... 1/4' plate is way overkill for a bumper bracket too. Have you looked at the factory ones???
yep .. [email protected] .. first one gets em .. if you want pics .. email me as well .. i used the stock 90'ish brackets with mods .
I just used this metal and attached it to the stock brackets and bent the outter stock brackets to fit the notche on the bumper and put a bolt thru it. It's on very secure and would protect just as much as the stock bumper if it got hit.
