I was browsing this forum and found that some say the 2wd bumper brackets are different from the 4wd brackets. Is this true and which brackets? I did a 4wd swap on another yota i had a few years back and dont ever remember swapping brackets. I have a '93 and am doing the 4wd fenders/bumper/valance/grill swap. Im going to the local junkyard tomorrow in search for a hood so if i need to grab some brackets the info will be helpfull. Thanks in advance!

 

i used my 2wd brackets they work just fine

 

I had to modify mine to work with the 4runner bumper. Idk bout the other 20 bumpers that yota offered in these models... lol

cept my right bracket is sort of, "bent" from that firehydrant lol
