I'm unsure if my new bumper will have any brackets. it's a 92-95 4WD bumper coming in.

I'm asking if anyone has a pic of 4WD bumper brackets next to a 2WD bumper bracket. i'd like specs to. I might have to weld and fabricate custom 4WD brackets....

Thanks and i appreciate it all.

or can i modify my 2WD bumper brackets to fit the 4wd bumper?

If I remember correctly the way the brackets bolt to the bumper is completely different. Not even close. I had trouble getting my 4x4 bumper to bolt up but it was because my brackets were bent. The 2wd ones weren't even close to working on the 4x4 so I had to tweak the the 4x4 brackets. It still doesn't sit quite right.

Like smctoy said, they are different. But they do mount to the frame the same.

Hahahhaah. I learned this the hard way yesterday that your supposted to leave the brackets loose when mounting the bumper so you can get them to align straight then tighten them after. Translation: no chrome bumper on yet.

    Carry on now

    Why not get a 4runner bumper/valance combo?

    Looks Good!

I used the brackets that came with the bumper. I went to the junkyard and sourced the sockets for the blinkers since they are bigger than the 2wd ones.

not picking on you, but with the 2wd grille having a flat bottom and the 4runner valance, i would run the 4runner bumper. or the 4wd grille and valance. so it all flows nice.

that is a 4runner bumper/valance. The 4wd bumper dips down in the middle.

i meant with the 4wd dip, i would swap grilles or swap bumpers to either have both flat or both dip
