What do you guys think of an LED strip as a front blinker? AVS sells 4.5" LED light and I was thinking of getting 2 of them an mounting them in the front bumper (I have a smoothie bumper and there's nowhere for a blinker) do you guys think it would look good

 

Do it. Im using a 49" led light bar for my tails,runners,blinkers,reverse in the rear and carbon crotchrocket signals in the front. I might even drop those and get the led's for the front since you mentioned it.

 

They're 45 a piece but I think thts really cheap for some LEDs I think it'd look clean an simple

i dont think they'll be bright enough..i made my own for bout $20 for both, and they are way brighter than what your looking at, check my build thread i think i have em in there...i'll post a video so you can see

I can't see those videos. But I don't think it'd be to bad using thoughs especially at night

I'm gonna shave my corners eventually and do a headlight conversion so i just thought using the little 4.5" LED would be sik an different

 

Yes it would be sick. Do it before I beat you to it.

 

I am my birthday is next week hopefully I get some $$ and I'll buy them. I'm thinkin amber LED with clear lens or red LED with clear lens

 

amber. red would cause legality issues.

anyone know of an easy way to do this with the corner and turnsignal lights?

 

yeah it would probably take a small circuit with an inverter chip and a relay..the inverter chip wont supply enough voltage to the corner, hence the reason for the relay..Or you could possibly use an Op-amp to boost the voltage..

 

I already have my corner lights do the parking and turn signals.
Neighbor down the street has a friend with a flat black lifted 4Runner 92-95 with an LED strip under the headlight and it stretches across under the corner lights. I think it looks neat. one LED strip per side.
